One-Day (Saturday) Workshop: Birdfeeders

Sorry, registration has ended.

Make an attractive woven-willow bird feeder that can be hung from a tree branch or hook in your garden. Fill with fat-balls (provided) and enjoy watching the birds feed, knowing you are helping them survive the winter months. You will probably manage to make two bird feeders during this workshop, so one for you and one for a friend: a great Christmas present!

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners, but please bear in mind that a certain amount of manual strength and dexterity is required when working with willow.  The projects covered on my workshops have been selected for their relative simplicity and suitability for beginners.  Throughout the workshop students may need to use specialist basketry tools (provided), many of which are either sharp or pointed, so a sensible approach to personal safety is essential!

Class size is limited to 6 participants so that I can provide maximum individual attention.

Refreshments are provided – please bring a packed lunch.

A work apron is recommended.
