Another day of festive fun, making festive willow decorations for your home this Christmas, or as gifts to give away. You will make woven Christmas Trees of various sizes and shapes, all of which can be decorated with tiny baubles and little pearl lights at home; expect to complete one or two. Next, Reindeer, which look very festive with a ribbon around their necks and a red ‘Rudolf’ nose – once you have grasped the technique, you will be able to create a whole family of these!

The price of this workshop includes all materials, use of tools and refreshments

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners, but please bear in mind that a certain amount of manual strength and dexterity is required when working with willow.  All projects covered on my workshops have been selected for their relative simplicity and suitability for beginners.  Throughout the workshop participants may need to use specialist basketry tools (provided), many of which are either sharp or pointed, so a sensible approach to personal safety is essential!

A work apron is recommended.

Maximum class size is 10 at this venue.

Refreshments are provided - please bring a packed lunch – there is no shop in the village.
