This course is the follow-on to Beginners' Basketmaking 2 and is specifically for those who have already completed that and the previous course (Beginners' Basketmaking 1). Beginners' Basketmaking 3: Handles & Shaping concentrates on a range of handle types that can be put on shopping baskets, log baskets, trays etc. We also develop the skills of creating differently shaped baskets (all derived from round bases). As with the preliminary course, the sessions are held once a month to allow time for students to practice what they have learned. NB: This course takes place on a Sunday. The same course will be run on a Saturday starting in September 2022 and again on a Monday starting in January 2023 - dates yet to be set. TO BOOK ON THIS COURSE YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED BOTH THE BEGINNERS' BASKETMAKING 1 & 2 COURSES. If you wish to book on this course, please contact me to request a place (you cannot book online for this course).
